Kings College Bournemouth, is an international school, founded in 1957 by Frederick King. Mr King’s vision was to bring people from different cultures together. His aim was to promote better global understanding through education and shared communication via the common language of English. These values and ethos continue at Kings today.
In addition to English language programmes, Kings is also a highly successful independent fifth and sixth-form college, rated ‘good’ by OFSTED and provides GCSE and A’ level courses.
Classes take place in exceptionally small groups, just 4-10 students at GCSE and A’ level. This allows Kings to provide a highly-personalised approach to learning. Examination results are outstanding – Kings is consistently in the top 10% of schools in England.
Please contact the Principal, Andrew Short, if you would like to know more about the opportunities available or call 01202 293535.
A dramatic and flamboyant seaside Victorian villa, filled with outstanding paintings and sculptures and crammed with artefacts from around the world.
This unique survivor of Victorian Bournemouth was home to hotel owners Annie and Merton Russell-Cotes from 1901. The house stands testimony to their passions. As a devoted couple they created this luxurious home together; as travellers they drew inspiration from around the world for the rich design and exotic interiors. As collectors they created galleries to showcase their collections of paintings, sculptures and natural history, as well as the extraordinary artefacts and souvenirs gathered on their travels.
